Six partner regions of the project Circular Flow Land Use Management (CircUse) are confronted with massive urban sprawl, the current economic crisis and the effects of demographic change causing unfavourable land use patterns.
To deal with these issues, the concept of CircUse represents an integrative policy and governance approach with a changed land use philosophy that can be expressed with the slogan “avoid – recycle – compensate”.
